- Ice Scraper and De-Icer
- Torch and spare batteries – or a wind up torch
- Warm clothes and blankets – for you and all passengers
- Boots
- First aid kit
- Jump leads
- A shovel
- Road atlas
- Sunglasses (the glare off snow can be dazzling)
