Dear Ian,

A1 Insurance was very quick and efficient from start to finish. I was introduced to A1 Insurance who then explained the whole process to me, took all the information they required and quickly returned a quote for a lot less than we are currently payong and with much better cover.

A brand new and exciting private car product today designed to provide affordable car insurance for students aged 18 to 24 years old.

This product is one of very few young driver facilities that does not require the student to install a telematics device to be eligible for cover. It provides students with all the benefits of comprehensive cover and allows them to protect their current level of no claims discount, starting from 1 year to help them to build their bonus for the future. Third Party Fire & Theft cover is also available.

Comprehensive cover:

  • £5,000 personal accident cover
  • £200 medical expenses
  • £100 personal effects cover
  • £300 cover for replacement locks

Other benefits include:

  • A courtesy car will be provided if using an approved repairer
  • Theft of in-car entertainment, communication and navigation equipment covered up to £300 or £750 (comprehensive)
  • Full policy cover is included free of charge in the EU for up to 30 days per year for SDP use
  • New for old cover with comprehensive policies if vehicle is eligible
  • Covered up to £20m for third party property damage claims
